The Breweries You'll Visit

You can set your pick up location after you book your tour. The Downtown pick up is used as an example to show driving time and distance for this route.

Start with a hoppy, yet very drinkable Pilsner or a rich, hearty IPA, followed by an American Pale Ale and one or more seasonals. Lost Rhino takes your taste buds on an adventure. Open: Tuesday 4pm - 9pm, Wednesday - Thursday 11:30am - 9pm, Friday - Saturday 11:30am - 10pm, Sunday: Noon - 5pm. Tours on Saturday 1pm - 5pm.

Crooked Run's tasting room is still a work in progress, but the small, bare-bones space has it's own charm. There's a bar, some barstools, picnic tables, a fireplace and 4 great beers on tap, drawn from a list of 21 recipes that owner/brewer Jake Endres felt were "nailed down." On Saturdays 1-5pm, the 32-ounce growlers are 20% off. Open: Tuesday - Thursday 4-10pm, Friday 4pm to midnight, Saturday 1pm to midnight, Sunday 1-6pm.

Tuskie's, as it is locally known is the godfather of the Leesburg beer scene. They offer a wide-ranging draft beer selection, flights of beer (3 drafts for $7), great bar snacks and a classy atmosphere. Open: Monday-Thursday 11am-9pm, Friday-Saturday 11am to midnight, Sunday 11am to 9pm.

Good news for folks who crave a sip in the sand, MacDowell's features a beach patio. Their 25 draft lines are loaded with choices from Virginia breweries, such as 3 Brothers, Devils Backbone, and Starr Hill, as well as favorites like Flying Dog, Stone and Lagunitas. Don't see a handle you like? An additional 125 bottles are available in bottles. Cheers! Open: Tuesday-Thursday 11am-10pm, Friday and Saturday 11am to midnight.

Feel free to add or leave out breweries, wineries or cideries in the area. Alternatives you might like are the Leesburg Brewing Company, Fire Works Pizza or Barnhouse Brewing (open one weekend a month). You can set your itinerary after you book your tour.
